Terms of service
Effective August 15, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and JT's Apps & Cattle LLC ("Starpower," "we," "us"), 7700 Windrose Ave, Plano, TX 75024. By creating an account or using Starpower you agree to them. If you use Starpower on behalf of a company, you agree on that company's behalf and represent that you can.
1. The service
Starpower is workspace software where team members draft email requests and designated senders — usually executives — review, edit, approve, and send them from the sender's own connected mailbox, or decline them. Starpower shows the people involved the status of each request, including whether a sent message was opened.
2. Accounts and workspaces
You are responsible for your credentials and for activity under your account. Workspace admins control membership, roles, sender designations, and settings for their workspace, and can view requests within it as described in the product. Keep your information accurate.
3. Mailbox connections and sending
Senders connect their own Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 account and grant Starpower send-only permission. Nothing is ever sent unless the sender — or a delegate the sender or a workspace admin authorized — approves the specific message; delegated sends go out from the sender's account and are recorded as performed by the delegate. You can disconnect a mailbox at any time. Sending is subject to your mail provider's own terms and limits, which we don't control, and a sender's connection may require reauthorization from time to time.
4. Your content and your responsibility
You own the content your team creates in Starpower. You are responsible for what you write and send: the emails your workspace sends are your communications, and you are responsible for their accuracy and legality — including compliance with anti-spam and commercial email laws that apply to you (such as CAN-SPAM) and with any laws governing email open tracking in your recipients' jurisdictions. We may include an open-tracking image in sent messages as part of the service.
5. Acceptable use
- No unlawful, deceptive, or fraudulent messages.
- No bulk unsolicited email or spam.
- No impersonating anyone without authorization — sending as an executive requires that executive's connected account and approval, and delegating that approval is their choice.
- No attempts to break, probe, or overload the service or to access another workspace's data.
We may suspend accounts or workspaces that violate these rules.
6. Fees
Paid plans are billed by subscription through Stripe at the prices shown at checkout, and renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel anytime from billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Taxes are your responsibility. Except where the law requires otherwise, fees are non-refundable.
7. Our stuff, your stuff
We own the Starpower software, design, and brand. You get a limited, non-exclusive right to use the service while these terms are in effect. You keep all rights to your content; you give us only the permissions needed to operate the service (store your requests, transmit approved emails, show status to your workspace).
8. Termination
You can stop using Starpower and delete your workspace at any time; deleting a workspace deletes its data as described in our privacy policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these terms, and will notify you unless legal or security reasons prevent it.
9. Disclaimers
Starpower is provided "as is" and "as available." We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that any email will be delivered or read, or that open-tracking data is exact (mail providers proxy and prefetch images, so opens are approximate by nature).
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or lost profits or revenue. Our total liability for any claims relating to the service is capped at the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (or $100 if you have paid nothing). Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your emails, or your violation of these terms or of applicable law.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Collin County, Texas.
13. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; for material changes we will update the date above and notify workspace admins, and continued use after that means acceptance. Contact: JT's Apps & Cattle LLC, 7700 Windrose Ave, Plano, TX 75024 · josh@joshthomas.io.
